Mohs surgery is a highly effective treatment for certain types of skin cancer, offering the highest potential cure rate. It is a precise surgical technique where the surgeon acts as both the cancer surgeon and the pathologist, examining the tissue under a microscope during the procedure to ensure complete cancer removal. This meticulous process allows for the complete excision of the skin cancer while sparing as much healthy tissue as possible. Mohs is typically used for treating basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and melanoma.
We provide state-of-the-art skin cancer diagnosis and treatment techniques at our numerous locations across Carrollton, Newnan, and Peachtree City, Georgia.
